Mahesh Chandrakar is a passionate Choreographer, Mentor and Director with over 26 years of experience in the world of dance and entertainment. His journey across choreography, films, television, music videos and dance education brings valuable industry experience and professional guidance to every student at Mahesh Sir Dance Institute.
As the founder and mentor, his mission is to inspire young dancers, build their confidence and help them grow into skilled performers. With the right training, discipline and personal mentorship, he continues to guide students towards bigger stages and opportunities.
Mahesh Sir began his journey in dance choreography, building a career through continuous creative practice and professional experience.
His journey expanded across professional choreography, film sets and television, including Dance+, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Dance India Dance Seasons 1, 2 & 3. He also worked as an actor in A Flying Jatt.
His professional journey includes the GF BF music-video project featuring Jacqueline Fernandez and Sooraj Pancholi, along with experience working alongside industry professionals and large entertainment productions.
Through Mahesh Sir Dance Institute, he continues to train and mentor students, focusing on dance skills, stage confidence, performance and bigger opportunities such as competitions and reality shows.
After 26 years in dance choreography, Mahesh Sir stepped into filmmaking as the Director of NACHA, described in the profile as Chhattisgarh's first dance movie.
